Privacy
How this site uses your data.
The short version: there are no forms, no ads and no tracking across other sites. I use FullStory to see how people move through the site, and Vercel’s analytics to count visits and check how fast pages load, so I can keep making it better.
What FullStory records
When you visit, FullStory records how you use the pages: which pages you open, where you click and scroll, and how the mouse moves. It also notes your browser, device, screen size and rough location, worked out from your IP address. It sets a first-party cookie so it can tell a repeat visit from a new one.
There are no forms on this site, so nothing you type is collected.
Visit counts and page speed
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and shows where visits come from, like a search engine or LinkedIn, along with the country, browser and device type. Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load for real visitors. Neither uses cookies or stores anything that identifies you, and the numbers are only ever shown in total, so they run for every visitor.
Opting out
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, FullStory doesn’t load and your session isn’t recorded. You can also opt out with FullStory directly on their opt-out page (opens in new tab), and read how they handle data in their privacy policy (opens in new tab).
Embedded content and links
The projects page includes a YouTube video, served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Links to LinkedIn and Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, like IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
