Berger is a timeless paint brand by Dulux that required a new online presence to reflect the enduring nature and quality of their paint. While working at 24 Digital, I played a large role in the 9 month engagement, working as both the project lead, managing all communication, timelines, strategy and ultimately responsible for delivery and was also the lead designer, creating both the UX (wireframes) and UI (visual) design for the new site. It was a large scale, collaborative project that brought in 3 key teams to effectively create a great new website.
A few key areas of the site include the colour wall, the inspiration articles and my projects, an interactive area to collect and organise colours, products and inspiration to help gather ideas for your own home project.
The project was a delight, full of technical challenges (the site is built on the Umbraco CMS and uses an API to pull in data for all products and colours), content challenges (working with the SEO team to ensure all pages, urls and content worked within the specific requirements), and design challenges (highlighting both Berger and Berger Jet Dry brands with equal weight, within the one site). It was a pleasure to collaborate with such a knowledgeable and skilled team and I hope to work with them in the future.
